Tiffany, Jaime, and I decided to take a day and get out of Kirksville! We went up to Pella, Iowa and attended the Tulip Festival there. They had beautiful tulips everywhere, tractors (which the kids loved), a parade, tons of authentic food and treat, and little shops like at a fair! It was very nice to get out. Here are some of the pics!

Such pretty flowers. Looked like a perfect day. So what is this I am hearing about a tornado?
We had a tornado in Kirksville about 1.5 miles from our house. A dean from Ben's med school had his house hit and a bunch of our friends' houses were severely damaged or destroyed. Insane huh? It was so scary.
